Today I'd like to add a post to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the passing of my dear Dad

The next picture shows the Class in 1952 at ILS
On the next picture my father receives his certificate in 1952. He is the person in the center of the picture receiving the certificate.
Not seen on any picture are the girls. Nevertheless he courted Gisela Fromm at ILS whom he married after their return to Germany. My Mom passed away September 26th, 2011, still loving her Ewald.
In 1953 the "Rochester Democrat and Chronicle" published an article with the headline "East meets West" mentioning my dad both in the text as in the picture. In the upper picture he is the gentleman to the right.
