State #9 - Connecticut and a nightmare

We were lucky because we entered New York City by car on a Sunday morning. We were not so lucky when we tried to leave The City on the afternoon. The saying goes: "Thought New York's traffic is a nightmare? Well, a nightmare is shorter!". Well, after some time (we don't disclose how much, though) we made is to the Connecticut state line by passing thru some lovely coastal towns like New Rochelle as we tried hard to circumvent the nightmare on I-95 East. Yet the poor guys in Connecticut do not have a colorful marker on the state line so be do not have a picture here. Their state line marker is rather dull and and is not readily identifiable.

State #8 - New Jersey

We crossed the state line of New Jersey on our way to NYC. Yet they placed their line marker right on the center divider in a construction zone so I didn't have a chance to take a picture.
